Snow lovers and mountain enthusiasts, get ready for a warm-up before the official start of the season! This weekend, Avoriaz opens its slopes early, giving you a preview of the snowy delights that await you this winter.
Come back on the slopes
The snow conditions, along with the work of the SERMA teams, the company managing the ski lifts of Avoriaz, allow for an early opening of the Avoriaz ski area this weekend, December 7th and 8th, 2024.
Arare sector (3 slopes) + Lindarets sector (3 slopes) + inter-sector connections within the resort !

- Prodains Cable Car: 8:45 AM – 4:45 PM
- Lac-Intrêts Chairlift: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Tour Chairlift: 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Prolays Chairlift: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Ardent Gondola: 8:45 AM – 4:45 PM
Ticket offices:
- Lower station of the Prodains cable car: 8:30 AM – 4:15 PM —> Locate the ski pass sales desks.
- Central station ticket office: 8:30 AM – 4:15 PM —> Locate the ski pass sales desks.
- Ardent Ticket Office: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM —> Locate the ski pass sales desks.
Previously purchased season passes are valid for the pre-opening.
The Prodains ticket office is open all week from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.
Access to Avoriaz:
- Avoriaz center (Plateau covered parking)
- Access to the ski area via the Prodains cable car.
- Access to the Lindarets area via the Ardent gondola.
The covered parking (Plateau parking) in Avoriaz, the Ardent parking and the Prodains parking will be free for the occasion.
⚠️ Station traffic information:
- Overnight parking is prohibited in the station.
- Skiers will be directed to the covered parking lot (free for this event).

Tourist Office
During this pre-opening weekend, the Avoriaz Tourist Office will be open from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, on Saturday and Sunday. Our destination experts will be able to answer all your questions.

Prodains cable car
Located down in the Morzine valley, the Prodains Express cable car takes you to the resort of Avoriaz 1800 in just 4 minutes. You'll find an outdoor car park right next to the cable car.

Unique for its mimetic architecture, the resort was designed in the 1960s with an avant-garde approach. Cars are not allowed in the resort, and the streets are completely covered in snow.
