The good times skier may or may not be local, but they are always up for an adventure or new experience in any condition – laughing, joking and enjoying being around each other. Whether they’re related or not, they act as family. When they get to the top of a run they encourage each other, and when they get to the bottom they celebrate and enjoy everything the mountain lifestyle has to offer. Jake founded Burton Snowboards out of a Vermont barn in 1977 and dedicated the rest of his life to snowboarding. He was our founder, the soul of snowboarding, the one who gave us the sport we all love so much.

Everything we do at Burton started in the mountains. From getting the most out of every journey to chasing snow around the globe, we’ve charged ahead to innovate and change the way people enjoy the outdoors since day one.

After driving innovation and progress for over 40 years, Burton knows it’s all about the journey. The product, community and the culture speaks for itself. The rest? Well, you just have to drop in and feel the difference.

Oakley, Inc., headquartered in Lake Forest, California, is a U.S. company that operates as an independent subsidiary of EssilorLuxottica. Oakley designs, develops and manufactures sports performance equipment and lifestyle products, including sunglasses, sports visors, ski and snowboard goggles, watches, apparel, backpacks, footwear, optical frames and other accessories.

Oakley was founded by James Jannard in 1975 in his garage. The name « Oakley » comes from Jim’s dog, « Oakley Anne ». Jim Jannard started by selling what he called « The Oakley Grip » on the back of his car at motocross events. His motorbike grips were different from other grips available at the time. 

Founded in 2005, Miliboo is the French online design furniture brand. It has also opened three concept stores, including two in Paris and one in Lyon, spaces designed as real living spaces, where the « customer experience » takes on its full meaning.Miliboo offers a wide and exclusive range of trendy and easy-to-live-with furniture for every room in the house, allowing everyone to create a world that suits them, by choosing quality furniture with a functional design that makes them feel at home.

Miliboo is proud to collaborate today with Avoriaz in its project to open a Working Center for its visitors for the duration of the 2021 / 2022 winter season. A space fitted out and furnished with values such as conviviality, quality and comfort through products made in France.

The Tourist Office is going all-electric and is equipping itself with 2 electric snowmobiles for intra-resort travel. Once again, Avoriaz 1800 is taking the first step by testing 100% electric snowmobiles, a first among French resorts. Mountain e-park and the Swiss brand Quantya have created this snowmobile especially for Avoriaz 1800, they are the only ones to develop these electric snowmobiles.
