They will be the patron and ambassador of the festival. Join them on Thursday, August 28, for dance classes and an exceptional performance!

For its 15th edition, the festival will take place from August 23 to 29, 2025, promising a memorable week! The Avoriaz Dance Festival offers a rich and varied program for all levels and tastes. Enjoy dance classes, dance parties, and spectacular shows led by international instructors and dancers. Whether you’re a fan of salsa, bachata, hip-hop, rock, or tango, you’ll find workshops to suit your interests.
Each year, the festival welcomes renowned figures from the international dance scene. These professionals share their expertise through masterclasses, demonstrations, and live performances, providing a unique opportunity to learn from the best and be inspired by their talent.
Beyond the classes and shows, the festival is also a place for meeting and sharing. Dance parties and the central guinguette allow participants to connect and interact in a friendly and festive atmosphere. It’s the perfect chance to make new friends, exchange experiences, and share a passion for dance.

Avoriaz Dance Festival returns for its 15th edition from August 23th to August 29th, 2025!
Come and participate in the 14th edition of the Avoriaz Dance Festival. On the program: Unlimited classes every day, suitable for all levels (Beginner, Intermediate, Confirmed Advanced), in a beautiful setting, in the heart of the mountains! Every evening of the week, themed parties and shows are offered for you to practice what you’ve learned during the day!
Guests Stars
This year, we are honored to welcome Denitsa Ikonomova, the renowned dancer from Dancing with the Stars, along with her partner François Alu, étoile dancer at the Paris Opera. They will be the patron and ambassador of the festival. Join them on Thursday, August 28, for dance classes and an exceptional performance!
On Thursday, August 28, Denitsa Ikonomova, accompanied by François Alu, will lead a cha-cha class (an introduction to the basics of cha-cha) in the Salle du Renne from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM. Then, François Alu, accompanied by Denitsa Ikonomova, will host a contemporary dance class in the Salle du Renne from 6:15 PM to 7:45 PM.
Finally, the duo will take the stage for a guest show performance at 9:30 PM!

For this edition:

- 8 disciplines + practice sessions + pre-parties + main party + shows

- All beginner/intermediate level 1 classes are offered in double sessions
- 55-minute classes to allow time to move between sessions

The French Dance Federation
As the leading federation for dance in France, the French Dance Federation (FFDanse) has been accompanying, developing, and supporting dance in all its forms throughout the French territory since 1969.
The FFDanse offers its members a multitude of dance practices:
- Classical (ballet), jazz, and contemporary dances,
- Hip-hop and urban dances, including breaking,
- Couple dances: ballroom dances (tango, waltz, musette, …),
- Latin and standard dances, rock’n’roll and swing dances, salsa, bachata, kizomba, historical dance, …
- Country and line dance,
- World dances: flamenco, African dance, oriental dance, Indian and Bollywood dance, Polynesian dance, …
- Pole dance and aerial dances.
Raca Danse
The RACA Dance Family, established in 1984, is a dance school renowned for its instruction in partner and solo dances. From weekly classes to workshops, team competition training, and the organization of international championships, the club has also produced shows at the sports park and Bonlieu theater in Annecy.
For several years, the RACA Dance Family has also been organizing dance trips abroad, and the Avoriaz Tourist Office has entrusted them with the artistic organization of the Avoriaz Dance Festival.
